OPPO K5 with SD730G, 64MP quad-cam, 32MP selfie cam announced

Apart from the Reno Ace flagship, OPPO recently made the K5 official in China.

OPPO K5 is a mid-range phone packed with a back design with different shines in Fantasy Forest and Polar Sunshine and a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ 2340 x 1080 resolution, waterdrop notch and In-Display fingerprint scanner.

Neat design

Powering this device is a 2.2GHz 8nm Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor with Adreno 618 GPU, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB expandable storage via microSD card, and 4,000mAh battery with USB-C charging port.

The device also packs a promising quad-camera setup. It uses a 64MP f/1.8 main cam + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP + 2MP cameras. It has a 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera setup as well.

The phone has WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, NFC, dual nano-SIM slots, and Android Pie OS with ColorOS 6.1 skin.

It measures 158.7 x 75.16 x 8.55 mm and weighs 182 grams.

In China, sales will start on October 17. But it is now available for pre-order now. Price starts at CNY 1,899 (around PHP 13.8K) for the 6GB/128GB version.

The 8GB/128GB model retails for CNY 2,099 (around PHP 15.2K) while the 8GB/256GB is priced at CNY 2,499 (around PHP 18.1K).
