Just a day after appearing in leaks again, OPPO launched the A52 in China, the company's newest mid-range smartphone.

OPPO A52 boasts a beautiful 3D curved back that is designed to be comfortable to hold in Polar Night Sky and Astral Glow colorways. It also has a trendy rectangular camera hump with an L-shaped quad-camera setup.

In front, it sports a punch-hole 6.5-inch large LCD display with FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution, 20:9 cinematic aspect ratio, 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, ultra-narrow sides of 1.73 mm, and TÜV Rheinland-certified eye protection mode.

Inside, it is powered by the 2.0GHz 11nm Snapdragon 665 AIE octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 expandable storage via microSD, and 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 18W fast charging.

For cameras, it highlights a 12MP f/1.8 main cam + 8MP f/2.2 119-degree ultra-wide camera + 2MP f/2.4 mono camera + 2MP f/2.4 depth camera + LED flash. OPPO said that it has the Night mode and anti-shake video (EIS) feature. In the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with AI face beauty.
The phone also sports a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, Dirac 2.0 audio, Hi-Res audio, WiFi, 4G LTE, GPS, and dual SIM slots.
The device runs with Android 10 OS with ColorOS 7.1 skin. In China, it has OPPO's own Breeno assistant as well.
