Road, rail, maritime, and aviation of public transportation can begin partial operation

According to the Inter-Agency Task Force Resolution No.30, select modes of public transportation may now resume operations while still observing strict social distancing.

This means there must be a one-meter distance between passengers. Those who board these PUVs must also be wearing face masks and undergo thermal scanning.

Meanwhile, buses can only operate at half capacity and LRT, MRT, and PNR at a fourth.

The operation of tricycles is under the discretion of LGUs, while jeepneys, due to lack of space will not be allowed to operate.

Note that public transportation in all ECQ areas is still banned until the decree is lifted (15 May 2020).
