Huawei has just seeded a major update to the P40 Pro to improve its cameras, display, and security.

A big update to improve the P40 Pro

The update goes with the 10.1.0.112(C636E8R4P1) changelog number with a 1.14GB big file size. It improves the quality of high-resolution photos, optimizes the anti-jitter function of its cameras, and made its video experience better.

The update also optimized the elements of the user interface on certain screens and added Smart assistance to Settings.

It also comes with the Android security patches released in April 2020 for improved system security. This means that Huawei is still updating its system with new security patches despite the lack of Google Mobile Services.

To recall, the Huawei P40 Pro an Android 10-based camera-focused high-end smartphone of 2020. It is equipped with a 6.58-inch Quad-Curve Overflow OLED screen (2640 x 1200 resolution) with 90Hz refresh rate, pill-shaped punch-hole in the display for the 32MP f/2.2 with AF + IR Depth/Gesture Camera, 2.86GHz 7nm+ EUV Kirin 990 5G octa-core processor with Triple NPU (2x Big-Core + Tiny-Core), 4,200mAh battery with  40W Wired SuperCharge, 27W Wireless SuperCharge, and 5W Wireless Reverse Charge, and the 50MP Ultra Vision Leica quad-camera configuration at the back.
