Huawei updates P40 Pro, now with improved zoom, colors, Petal Search, and Android's May security patch

Following the May major update to improve its cameras, display, and security, Huawei has seeded another major update to make the P40 Pro even better.

The update with the 10.1.0.134 number is 820MB in size. It adds a Picture-in-Picture preview frame in the viewfinder when the zoom level is set to 15x or higher to help its users focus easier.

We also noticed that its 50x max zoom now has better sharpness and less noise.

The update also enhances the Golden Snap feature, improves the quality and colors of photos taken in certain situations for more natural and authentic effects.

The update also carries the new Petal Search to the widgets on the home screen for easier app searches as well as the May 2020 Android security patch.

This means that even if the phone doesn't have Google Mobile Services, it is consistently receiving Android security patches.
