Samsung outs Galaxy A21s with punch-hole, 48MP quad-cam, and 5,000mAh battery

In the UK, Samsung has announced today the Galaxy A21s. Like the Galaxy A21, it sports a display with a punch-hole. But, it has better overall specs and cameras on paper.

Similar to earlier leaks, the phone comes with 3D curved glass-like back design in gradient-looking Black, White, and Blue colors. It also has a rectangular camera hump and a rear-facing fingerprint reader.

In the front, the device sports a 6.5-inch PLS TFT Infinity-O display with HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution at 270 ppi and a cinematic 20:9 screen aspect ratio.

Under the hood, it uses an unspecified 2.0GHz octa-core processor built using a pair of 2.0GHz quad-core chips. Recent leaks said that it could be the new Exynos 850 SoC processor.

Samsung paired the phone with 3GB RAM, 32G expandable storage via microSD slot up to 512GB, and 5,000mAh large battery with USB-C 15W fast charging support.

Behind, it now sports a 48MP f/2.0 + 8MP f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle + 2MP f/2.4 macro + 2MP f/2.4 depth quad-camera configuration. This is a clear step-up coming from the 25MP + 8MP + 2MP of the A20s.

In the front, you'll find a 16MP f/2.2 camera for selfies, groufies, and video calls inside the punch-hole of its display.

In the UK, the handset is priced at GBP 179 or around PHP 11K out of straight conversion. First, it will be available from Samsung channels and select partners in the UK. Those who will purchase it between now and December 31, 2020, will get FREE 6-month access to Spotify Premium.
