GCash adds a new digital Payroll solution for small to large businesses for the Philippines called PowerPay+ amid the COVID-19 pandemic. With this new feature, GCash users can send and received money within minutes from private businesses and from the government.
Recently, Makati City government disbursed COVID-19 Pandemic Quarantine cash aid via GCash to its constituents. Other agencies like the Department Transportation (DOTr), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) are currently developing digital payment solutions for stockholders and for sending monetary assistance via GCash.
The new PowerPay+ offers an online dashboard that provides digital solutions for digital salary disbursements that is accessible anytime and anywhere with an internet connection through the employer's and employee's GCash account.
PowerPay+ has a scheduling or recurring payout feature that can has a high level of customization with multi-level approvals.
A GCash Mastercard can be availed should users want to withdraw funds from the GCash wallet. There is no average daily balance nor is there a maintaining balance for both the company and the employees. Each transaction with PowerPay+ is documented digitally and are stored in secure servers. GCash will offer support for dedicated account managers and claims a safe and secure online service.
Lastly, employees also have access to GCash's current features like in-app bills payment and money transfers without having to visit and lining up in banks or payment centers.
