HONOR to release a gaming laptop with USB-C 200W charging

Earlier this week, OPPO and iQOO announced their 125W and 120W super-fast charging solutions, respectively. If you think it'll be hard for someone to come up with something even faster, think again.

200W fast charging anyone?

Huawei's sub-brand HONOR announced that it will soon launch a new fast charging technology that will be used for gaming notebooks.

Based on the post Weibo user @Ark, the HONOR gaming laptop will feature a 200W power adapter with 20V/10A output.

200W is not the fastest charging found on gaming laptops, but it should be the fastest based on USB-C + PD technology. This means that HONOR aims to make the bulky traditional gaming notebook chargers smaller and more portable.

The laptop is said to come with the model number HW-200A00P00 and the FRD codename.

HONOR is expected to introduce its new MagicBook Pro powered by AMD and its first gaming notebook on July 16.
