Samsung just released the Galaxy M01 Core in India, the newest Android 10 (Go edition)-powered handset of the company.

Aimed towards consumers on a very tight budget, the device features basic Android specs.

It uses a polycarbonate body in Black, Blue, and Red colors and a smaller 5.3-inch HD+ notchless screen.

Inside, it is powered by the MediaTek MT6739 with a quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, Mali-T760 MP2 GPU, 1GB or 2GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB expandable storage via dedicated microSD card slot, and 3,000mAh battery with Maximum Power Saving Mode to stretch battery life and micro USB charging.

At the back, the device comes with an 8MP single camera that can shoot up to 1080p videos. It also has the Intelligent Photos feature that detects similar shots and suggests the best one to keep. In the front, you'll find a 5MP selfie camera.

The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack slot, single-band WiFi b/g/n (2.4GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0 tech, GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM slots.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

1GB/16GB - INR 5,500 (around PHP 3.6K)
2GB/32GB - INR 6,500 (around PHP 4.2K)

The handset will be available online In India from July 29.
