Xiaomi Mi 11 now official and it is a beast!

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is a flagship-level device, the first to feature Qualcomm's new 5nm Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform.

To recap, Snapdragon 888 uses ARM's Prime Cortex-X1 core clocked at 2.84GHz, 3x Cortex-A78 cores at 2.4GHz, and 4x Cortex-A55 cores as well as Adreno 660 GPU, Spectra 580 triple ISP, and an integrated Snapdragon X60 5G modem.

It is paired with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and 4,600mAh battery.

The 4,600mAh battery can be charged using the Mi Charge Turbo System including
55W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also has a 10W reverse wireless charging support that can charge other devices with wireless charging tech.

Xiaomi previously said that it'll remove the in-box charger for the Mi 11 in China. But, the company confirmed to Android Authority will still offer two options, one with the smartphone only, and one with a separate 55W GaN charge bundled at the same price.

This means that those who have a charger anymore can opt not to get the unit with a FREE charger.

To keep the performance in check, it uses a vapor chamber cooling system.

Mi 11 also highlights a massive 6.81-inch Super AMOLED screen with 2K (QHD+) 3200 x 1440 resolution, 120Hz variable refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1171 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, 515 ppi, and an In-Display fingerprint scanner. Thanks to those display specs, it earned the highest DisplayMate A+ rating.

To protect this high-end display, Xiaomi used the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

For cameras, the device features a 108MP shooter with f/1.85 aperture size and OIS, 13MP f/2.4 123-degree ultra-wide-angle secondary camera, and a 5MP f/2.4 telephoto macro camera. There's no super zoom this time though. It also has a 20MP selfie shooter in front.

Xiaomi also notes that it records up to 8K videos. It also has a night video mode for brighter low light videos.

To enhance the multimedia experience, this device also has a stereo speaker setup tuned by Harman Kardon audio.

This runs with the MIUI 12.5 skin based on Android 11 OS. The phone is 8.06 mm thick.

It is available in White, Blue, Black, Smoke Purple, and Khaki colors.

There is a limited edition Mi 11 Lei Jun Signature Edition with a 3D textured glass and the CEO's signature on the back as well as a gift box packaging.
