A month after the launch of the bang-per-buck Redmi 9T budget phone in the Philippines, Xiaomi today released its second smartphone in the country—the Mi 11. |
108MP cam and more! |
Xiaomi's first flagship-killer in 2021!

One of the best screens today |
This time, it is a premium offering. The Mi 11 is currently the company's flagship phone boasting top specs for less versus the competition.
Similar to most pricier phones, the Mi 11 is featuring a 3D curved glass back design with an anti-fingerprint frosted finish for a more comfortable grip.
In front, this is where it is superior to a lot of phones today. Thanks to its 6.81-inch AMOLED quad-curve DotDisplay with 3200 x 1440 WQHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut support, HDR10+, AdaptiveSync support, 10-bit color, Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and 515 ppi pixel density, it has the DisplayMate A+ rating.
To keep it simple, this device is sporting one of the highest-rated screens on smartphones today. Moreover, this highlights an In-Display fingerprint scanner with a heart rate monitor!

Speed of SD888 |
Inside, Xiaomi made sure that this phone is fast. In particular, it is the very first in the world with a 2.84GHz 5nm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor with Adreno 660 GPU and a built-in 5G modem. SD888 is arguably the most powerful chipset for performance and gaming today.
To assist this powerful chip, Xiaomi added 8GB LPDDR5 for multitasking and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Then, it has a 4,600mAh battery capacity (large for a slim phone with fast charging) and 55W fast wireless charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging.
Keeping the performance in check is an advanced cooling system that uses vapor chamber cooling.
For cameras, Mi 11 is armed with a triple-camera setup. It uses a 108MP f/1.86 main shooter with PDAF focus (more accurate and speedier focus) and OIS (stabilization), 13MP f/2.4 123-degree ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP f/2.4 telemacro camera (allows zooming on macro mode), and a dual-tone LED flash. On its punch-hole, you will find a 20MP f/2.2 snapper.
Mi 11 also has the One-Click AI Cinema mode with plenty of movie effects like Time Freeze, Magic Zoom, Slow Shutter, Night Time-lapse, Freeze Frame Video, and Parallel World.
It also has an Ultra Night Video that uses RAW-level AI with real-time noise reduction and brightness enhancement for improved lighting and better night videos.
Moreover, it has HDR10+ video recording to allow its users to further record better-looking videos.
This device also has plenty of other features including an IR Blaster, Harman Kardon stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio, Hi-Res Audio Wireless Certification, X-axis linear vibration motor, and advanced cooling system.
