No in-box charger for the upcoming Mi 11

The announcement came over a
month after mocking Apple with their decision to remove the in-box charger of the iPhone 12 series and its older devices.

It showed that the Mi 11 will pack lightly using a slimmer box ala iPhone 12.

This means that it won't do the same move they made with the Mi 10T Lite Atlantic Blue variant where the company managed to reduce plastic packaging by about 60 percent while keeping all the essentials inside including the 33W fast charging power brick.

So, the Mi 11 phones might just come with the phone itself with the data/charging cable.

We are not sure if this move will also apply to future Mi devices.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is scheduled to launch on December 28. The device is expected to be the first device powered by the 5nm Snapdragon 888 high-end processor.

Xiaomi also hinted that it'll use a top-quality QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7 protection. For cameras, it'll likely load with a 108MP OIS shooter.
The box of the Mi 11 also showed that its audio will be powered by Samsung's Harman Kardon.

There are hints that it might arrive with super-fast charging support as well. But, this development means that
you will have to buy the power brick separately.

What do you guys think?
