First up, the OPPO Reno5 features the OPPO Full Dimension Fusion Portrait Video System. The FDF Portrait Video System is based on top-end imaging hardware, new image processing algorithms, user-friendly software to deliver diverse video creation capabilities. It enhances portrait scene detection and portraits feature design.

The FDF Portrait Video System is made up of two engines. First is the Quality Enhancement Engine that ensures users to capture clear images in any scenario. It works to deliver the best picture whether under daylight, night, or even strong backlight. Next, it has the Portrait Perception Engine that is responsible for establishing a clear definition between the portrait subject and background.

There's the AI Highlight Video feature that uses OPPO's new proprietary algorithm architecture to combine its Ultra Night Video Algorithm and Live HDR Algorithm. This allows the cameras to detect light levels in the scene to optimize the brightness, color, and clarity of the videos. The AI Highlight Video has three automatic optimization algorithms namely Adaptive Brightness Adjustment, Adaptive Dynamic Range, and Adaptive Noise Reduction.

Lastly, the OPPO Scene Design Manager uses portrait scene detection along with OPPO's own database to analyze real-life portrait scenes and provide the processing requirements needed. It will more effectively separate the subject from the background. It works with OPPO Reno5's AI models and deep neural networks to deliver fast and accurate portrait recognition.

As a recap, the OPPO Reno5 5G features these specs in China. It has a large 6.43-inch OLED display with 2400 x 1080 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch hole for the selfie camera.
