Samsung is speeding up its efforts to update its existing phones to Android 11 and One UI 3.0. The 4G and 5G variants of the first Galaxy Fold are scheduled to receive it a month earlier than the company's rollout schedule.

As of now, the 4G variants with build number F900FXXU4DUA1 and the F907BXXU4DUA1 5G variants in France, India, and UAE are the first to get it along with the January security patch.

Next, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 is also getting the One UI 3.0 and Android 11 updates in Germany and South Korea. A week after that, it is expected to reach the US models of the phone. It is rolled out via OTA updates and has a build number of F916USQU1CTLL.

Samsung Galaxy Fold and Fold2 users in the Philippines should be on the lookout for the OTA update as well. There is no exact date for the update's arrival but could be expected within January.
