MWCS 2021: realme reveals GT 5G's leather back design, announces Dual-flagship Strategy
At the ongoing Mobile World Congress in Shanghai, China, fast-rising tech brand realme showcased the back design and a few key features of its upcoming GT flagship phone.

realme GT 5G's back design
realme shared that the GT 5G is based on the concept of a sports car. It'll come with a vegan leather back design (second-gen) with a more delicate texture, softer touch feeling, and better color effect. It also has a black glass-like stripe on the rear panel up to the camera hump representing a "race track" finish.
Under the hood, as expected, the device will be powered by Qualcomm's greatest yet—the 5nm Snapdragon 888 flagship. The company also noted that it will be using a Stainless Steel VC Cooling system to help in heat dissipation for sustained performance.
The rest of the missing details about the realme GT 5G will be revealed on March 4.
Apart from the realme GT preview, the company also announced its "Dual-flagship Strategy" on premium phones.
realme will launch a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8xx series flagship that focuses on performance and a MediaTek Dimensity series 5G SoC for camera technology.
This suggests that the GT will be a performance flagship. There's no info yet when the camera flagship will be announced.
Clearly, realme separately targeting those who play mobile games heavily with minimal or occasionally camera use and the mobile content creators who use the cameras of their phones a lot.
