Xiaomi Mi 11 with SD888 and In-Display heart rate sensor goes global
On schedule, the Xiaomi Mi 11 was officially launched globally today. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 flagship processor with 5G support.

The Mi 11 has a 6.81-inch AMOLED quad-curve DotDisplay with 3200 x 1440 WQHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut support, HDR10+, AdaptiveSync support, 10-bit color, Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and 515 ppi pixel density. It also has an In-Display fingerprint scanner with a heart rate monitor!
For the performance specs, it is powered by the 5nm 2.84GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor with X60 5G modem, Adreno 660 GPU, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,600mAh battery with 55W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. A 55W GaN charger is included in the box unlike in China. It features an Advanced Cooling System to handle the thermals during heavy loads.
For the cameras, it has a triple rear camera with 108MP f/1.8 wide-angle Samsung HMX sensor with 7P lens, OIS, AF + 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle sensor with 123-degree FOV + 5MP f/2.4 telemacro sensor with AF up to 3cm and LED flash. All three camera sensors are capable of using Night Mode and Ultra Night Video. It can also shoot 4K HDR10+ videos with upgraded voice recording for a true studio-level video,
For selfies, it has a 20MP f/2.4 In-Display camera.
Other features include WiFi 6, 5G connectivity, In-Display fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE, AI Face Unlock, NFC, IR Blaster, Harman Kardon stereo speakers, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Bluetooth 5.2. It is running Android 11 out of the box with MIUI 12.5 on top.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is available in two colors namely Midnight Gray and Horizon Blue.
The Lei Jun edition will also be available in some parts of the world.
Philippine price and availability are yet to be confirmed though.
