Xiaomi reveals a list of global devices to get MIUI 12.5

Along with the Mi 11 flagship phone, Xiaomi earlier revealed the global rollout schedule of the MIUI 12.5 skin.

MIUI 12.5 is coming to several Mi global devices!

To recap, MIUI 12.5 is the latest iteration of the company's homebaked skin boasting numerous upgrades in system optimizations.

MIUI 12.5 second wave

This new Android skin comes with a revamped system UI highlighting a reduced CPU usage by up to 22 percent and power consumption by up to 15 percent. According to the company, these improvements ensure frictionless performance and graphics.

Xiaomi also made some of its system apps uninstallable and some for the system core apps can now be hidden. This skin also features smoother screen gestures and revamped NOTES app with different drawing tools as well as quick access for note-taking and more.

Xiaomi will update 5 devices first in Q2 2021 followed by 11 more phones later in Q2 2021.
