OnePlus to announce launch date of OnePlus 9 series on March 8
OnePlus posted a teaser on its official website the release of their upcoming flagship devices the "OnePlus 9 series".

A photo is seen on the OnePlus website that says "Something new is on the horizon". Just to be clear, this is only the announcement of the phone's launch date and not the official launch event of the phone.

Several leaks were seen already online, and based on those, the OnePlus 9 will likely have 3 models to highlight. Namely the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and the OnePlus 9R. It is also expected that along with the Flagship Series, they will also launch the highly-expected first smartwatch of OnePlus.
The OnePlus 9 is rumored to come with Snapdragon 888, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB storage. The smartphone is loaded with a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. It will come with a 48MP main camera, a 50MP auxiliary camera, and a 2MP sensor. The battery will have 4,500mAh that will charge 65W.
The Pro version will also be packed with the same SD 888 SoC but with a larger 6.7-inch display at a 120Hz refresh rate. To recap OnePlus made a partnership with Hasselblad which means the quad-camera setup will feature a 48MP main sensor, 50MP auxiliary camera, 8MP, and 2MP camera. The smartphone will support 30fps 8K video recording. The Pro version will have 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This will come with OxygenOS 11 which is based on Android 11.
For the OnePlus 9R, this version is for those users that want to have a cost-effective flagship. There's news that suggests it will arrive with Snapdragon 870 which is a powerful SoC. It will arrive with a 64MP main camera and come with OxygenOS 11. The internals will get 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is expected to come with a 5,000mAh that has 30W flash charging.
