Flagship specs, powerful cameras, faster-charging speed

If this looks familiar, you are not wrong. This handset is identical to the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra 5G introduced in April boasting a triple 64MP camera configuration in a Galaxy S20 Ultra-like camera island. Note that it is rare for smartphone makers to put 3 large cameras on a device.

In particular, it uses a 64MP unit is a Sony IMX686 sensor with f/1.6 aperture, OIS, and 8K video recording capability paired with a secondary 64MP module with f/1.9 aperture at 35mm and a 64MP 13mm 120-degree ultra-wide-angle shooter.

AND, apart from those 3 big cameras, it has a fourth 8MP 123mm 5x periscope zoom camera with OIS. When zooming, the 64MP secondary camera with 1.5x magnification assists the 8MP shooter to prevent loss of details.

nubia also partnered with the Nional Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for NEOVISION 10 Astronomical Imaging System. According to the company, even the user doesn't have a tripod, star trail shots are possible.

For the rest of the specs, the nubia Z30 Pro features a 3D curved glass-like design at the back in Black and Silver colors and a 3D curved 20:9 6.67-inch OLED panel in front. The display it is using has up to 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, HDR10+ support, FHD+ resolution, punch-hole for the 16MP front camera, and an In-Display fingerprint reader.

Inside, it is powered by Qualcomm's 2.84GHz 5nm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor with Adreno 660 GPU, 8GB/12GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,200mAh battery with USB-C 120W fast charging with no wireless charging.

This time, there's no option for the 1TB variant and the battery is smaller at 4,600mAh, but the 120W charging is a huge upgrade from the 66W of Axon 30 Ultra 5G. nubia claimed that it can fully charge the phone from 0 to 100 percent in 15 minutes.

The device has WiFi 6E, 5G, SA/NSA, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and Android 11 OS with nubia UI 9.0 skin.

nubia Z30 Pro measures 161.83 x 73.01 x 8.5 mm and weighs 198 grams.

The device also has stereo speakers, DTS X: Ultra, and five-layer micron graphene + VC liquid-cooled soaking plate.
