realme Watch 2 Pro launches featuring 1.7-inch screen and 14-day battery life

Following the launch of the base realme Watch 2 variant last month, the brand announced the Watch 2 Pro with a bigger screen, battery, and more.

It has a bigger screen, bigger battery

The realme Watch 2 Pro has a 1.75-inch screen with 385 x 380 resolution, 30Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits peak brightness. It is 56 percent larger than the base variant too. It will also be customizable with over 100 watch faces with some having Live options. Watch 2 Pro also gets you access to Master Edition watch faces as well that are designed by South Korean artist Grafflex.

The other improvement from the base variants comes in the battery. It now has a larger 390 mAh battery with 14 days of usage in a single charge. This is a significant leap from the base variant's 315mAh battery with 12 days of life. It now also has dual-satellite GPS that eliminates the need for a smartphone to map routes.

The rest of the features and specs are similar to the base variant too. It retains sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen level monitor, sedentary reminder, hydration reminder, and meditation exercises. In the future, support for over 90 sports modes is expected via OTA update to add to the existing 16 sports modes out of the box.

It also features music and camera controls, a phone finder, weather forecasting, IoT control, and IP68 dust and water resistance. The Watch 2 Pro also alerts you of app notifications and incoming calls, although you can only reject the calls since the Watch 2 Pro doesn't have a microphone and a speaker to allow conversations.

The realme Watch 2 Pro comes in Space Gray and Metallic Silver with silicone straps in Black and Light Gray. It will be available in Malaysia starting May 29 while local pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed.
