Infinix to bring these technologies at more affordable price points

Dubbed as the Infinix Concept Phone 2021, the device is boasting the world's first dual color-changing back cover while highlighting a super-fast 160W charging tech, 50W wireless charging, security protection mechanisms, and new temperature control capabilities.

Infinix said that this concept smartphone is the future of its smartphone designs forward.

The first innovation the company presented is the electrochromic and electroluminescent technology which allows dual color-changing back cover. It uses light as the medium and electric field as the process.

Infinix said that when there is an
incoming call, the back of the smartphone changes between silver gray and light blue. When charging, the color will change and flash in the middle of the handset.

The device uses an ultra-thin, energy-saving, and transparent solid electrochromic film (SECF) combined with electroluminescence (EL) film.

For the 160W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, Infinix used the Ultra Flash Charge (UFC) technology, Innovative Super Charge Pump, 60 security protection mechanisms, and an 8C battery cell that enables the smartphone's 4,000mAh battery to be fully and safely charged in 10 minutes.

The company said that its Super Charge Pump is integrated with four high conversion charging chips that support high power conversion enabling the smartphone to reach 98.6 percent charging conversion efficiency while avoiding overloading and overheating caused by large currents.

It also has
20 temperature sensors and intelligent control algorithms to intelligently monitor the temperature while charging and adjust the charging power to keep the smartphone under 40 degrees Celcius or 104 Fahrenheit.

Thanks to its collaboration with the world's leading battery manufacturers, the company was able to develop an 8C battery cell that reduces more than 18 percent of internal resistance in comparison with a 6C battery and produces less heat.

Moreover, it has security protection that is triggered during abnormal scenarios–such as high temperature, increased voltage, electromagnetic interference, and more–keeping the handset safe.

Form the display, it has a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with an 88-degree limit radian that forms a "perfect surface" using 3D glass. While this is not new, it makes the handset look better than a lot of phones in front.

The company is also boasting that this uses an AI-powered triple-camera configuration using a 64MP primary shooter, 120-degree ultra-wide-cam, and a periscope telephoto zoom for up to 60x digital zoom. There is a 32MP shooter for selfies as well.

Inside, it is using an unspecified 64-bit octa-core processor with 2x ARM Cortex-A76 cores at 2.05GHz and 6x power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. There is a Mali-G76 MP4 GPU at 900MHz as well.

It is also paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The handset runs with Android 11 OS with a new power button menu, communication features, and a notification history to further streamline the smartphone experience.

While many emerging features in the market today are expensive and unobtainable for the everyday consumer, Infinix is committed to offering consumers innovation at an attainable price, shares Jessy Zhang, Senior R&D Manager of Infinix Mobility.

Creating valuable technology is the driving force behind the Concept Phone 2021. With Infinix being one of the most popular smart device providers among young people in emerging markets, our smartphones redefine productivity and efficiency and are a gateway to the future of digital life.

Infinix has yet to reveal the availability of its phones using the technologies they presented.
