Sony outs the SRS-XB13 Bluetooth speaker with 16-hour battery and extra bass

Designed for outdoor rugged activities such as travels, pool parties, and hiking

In line with the celebration of World Music Day, Sony recently launched the SRS-XB13 EXTRA BASS portable wireless speaker for the Indian market.

Head of the Audio Business unit of Sony India Gyanendra Singh explained during the launch that this portable speaker will probably be a huge hit among younger users. This is due to its excellent sound quality, portability, and versatility. 

In addition, this wireless speaker can double as an outdoor and indoor speaker, suitable for pool parties. Singh also said that the SRS-XB13 provides notable improvements from its predecessor by producing surround sound using sound diffusion technology in the device.

The latest wireless speaker is equipped with a unique, multi-way strap so you can easily bring it on your travels. It's also available in attractive colors: The colors available currently are pink, blue, taupe, and black. This device is also water-resistant and dust-resistant capability with its IP67 rating.

This speaker features an Extra Bass Sound Diffusion processor that can deliver excellent audio to listeners of the device with its 5W output. According to Sony, it can also last for 16 hours of use on a full charge.

With its Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity support, users can seamlessly connect it with any Android device. It also sports a new battery life indicator, built-in mic, and Google Fast Pair that makes it more interactive than the previous version.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

The Sony SRS-XB13 wireless speaker is now available in India directly from Sony retail shops and selected outlets including Amazon and Flipkart.

There's no word yet if the company will launch this in other countries as well.
