Sony recently introduced SRS-XB13 to the Philippine market. It's the company's newest portable speaker with water resistance, improved sound, and Bluetooth connectivity.

A new compact speaker in the Philippines from Sony
In particular, the Sony SRS-XB13 arrived in a slightly tall circular body in Coral Pink, Lemon Yellow, Light Blue, and Black colorways. It comes with a multi-way strap allowing its users to hang it on wherever it will fit as well as an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance so they can bring them even to the beach.

Inside the speaker is a 46mm mono speaker with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. Sony said that this speaker features an Extra Bass Sound Diffusion processor with 5W output and DSP technology. The company claims that with the said technologies, the compact speaker is capable of delivering surround sound even if it isn't stereo.

It also has a built-in microphone that you can use for hands-free calls.
The device connects via Bluetooth 5.0 on Android, iOS, and PC, Google Fast Pair, and the ability to connect to another XB13 for stereo sound.
Sony claims that it has up to 16 hours of battery life with battery life indicator as well as USB-C charging.
