4K, 144Hz gaming monitor!

Thru its official Facebook page, Digital Walker has announced that the Eve Spectrum gaming monitors will officially arrive in the Philippines soon.

The Eve Spectrum monitor was first announced thru crowdfunding where the company asked customers what features they would like to have in their dream monitor. Eve listened and it became the new Spectrum Gaming monitor.

It comes in three models but for now, only the ES07D03 with 4K Ultra-HD or 3840 x 2160 will arrive first. At the core of the monitor is the Nano IPS Oxide TFT LCD display with Bottom edge-lit LED lighting, Global or no dynamic dimming in SDR and 16-zone local dimming in HDR mode.

The panel has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels with a pixel pitch of 0.1557mm, 163 ppi and 750 nits peak brightness. It supports HDR10 Media Profile and is VESA DisplayHDR600 certified. It covers over 1.07 Billion colors and has a color depth of 10-bit (8-bit+A-FRC). It covers over 100 percent of the sRGB color space and over 98 percent of the larger DCI-P3 color gamut.

It has over 5ms (gray-to-gray) average response time but can reach 1ms (gray-to-gray) when in overdrive mode. The panel has a frequency range of 48Hz to 144Hz and is both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certified.

At the back are a ton of ports that include two (2) HDMI 2.1 Video Inputs, one (1) Display 1.4 video input, one (1) USB Type-C (with Display Port 1.4 video input, USB 3.1 Gen 2, 100W/USB PD 3.0 output), one (1) USB Type-C (USB 3.1 Gen 2, 15W output), two (2) USB Type-A, one (1) 3.5mm audio jack, one (1) USB Type-B.

Other features include Split-screen mode, variable overdrive, backlight strobing, VESA Mount 100 X 100 compatible, and is Kensington lock compatible.

Inside the box are the Eve Spectrum, Power Adapter, Power cable, Quick Start Guide and Color Calibration report. The Stand is sold separately but it supports vertical tilt, pivot or landscape rotation and height adjustments.

There is no word yet on Philippine pricing and date of availability.

Because the Eve Spectrum monitors are confirmed, does that mean that the Eve V line of laptops will be coming soon too?

Stay tuned for more information.

What do you guys think?
