Everything about the newly released smartphone screams speed, it's even got the BMW M Motorsport branding and promising latest features.

The iQOO 8's design comes in White and Black, with the former BMW M branding and carbon-fiber-like finish. There's also two matt glass version in white and orange colors.

It got a 6.56-inch AMOLED panel and an FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Inside you'd find the 5nm 2.8GHz Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with either 8/128GB or 12/256GB storage options.

It has a 4350 mAh non-removable battery and 120W fast charging. It is claimed that the phone can be fully charged in just 18 mins.

The vanilla version uses a 48MP Sony IMX 598 as the main camera with a 13MP ultrawide shooter and a 13MP for the portrait mode. Its selfie has 16MP sensors.

Moving unto the 8 Pro, it got the same black and white color options as well as the BMW M branding and carbon-fiber-like finish.

It has a bigger 6.76-inch OLED curved screen with 1440p resolution and a buttery smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has 10-bit colors which have already received an A+ rating from DisplayMate.

Of course, the Pro version got a higher processor than the vanilla model, you'd find the 5nm 2.9GHz Snapdragon 888+ processor. It is then paired with either 8/256GB, 12/256GB, and 12/512GB storage options.

The battery is slightly larger having a 4500 mAh cell and can be charged with a 120W fast charger. But there is also a 50W wireless charging support and 10W reverse wireless charging being added to the Pro model.

When it comes to the camera it also has better sensors too. The main shooter has a 50MP Sony IMX 766 with a 23mm equivalent 7P freeform lens which can also be found in other flagship devices such as OPPO Find X3 Pro and the OnePlus Nord 2. The main sensor also gets 5-axis gimbal stabilization just like on the recent vivo X-series.

The other modules are a 48 MP ultrawide shooter and a 16MP for portrait mode. As for the selfie, it got a 16MP camera.

Both models have under-display fingerprint scanners for security and will run OriginOS on top of Android 11.

iQOO 8 Pro 12/512 - CNY 5,999 (around PHP 46.6K)

The iQOO 8 will be available in China on August 24, while the Pro version will be available 2 days later which is on August 26.
