All-new Apple iPad mini (2021) with 5G, larger display and USB-C starts at PHP 29,990!

Apple has revealed the all-new iPad mini (2021) with narrower bezels, rounded corners, a larger display, stereo speakers, and 5G!

iPad mini gets a major upgrade!

The new mini iPad features a larger 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display with up to 500 nits peak brightness True Tone, P3 Wide color gamut and anti-reflective coating. Around the display are narrower bezels that were achieved by moving the Touch ID sensor to the top Button of the iPad Mini.

Inside is the brand new A15 Bionic chip that Apple claims can deliver up to 80 percent more performance than the previous A14 chip. It features 2 high-performance cores, 4 high-efficiency cores, a faster Neural Engine and 5-core GPU.

Apple has upgraded the connectivity of the new iPad Mini with USB-C, WiFi 6 and 5G. It also now supports the Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) which attaches magnetically to the iPad mini for wireless charging and pairing.

The iPad mini now features an updated 12MP ultra-wide front camera that is compatible with Apple's Center Stage feature. At the back is a 12MP f/1.8 camera and LED flash.

It also supports landscape stereo speakers.

The new tablet will run iPadOS 15 out of the box and it will feature new widget layouts, system-wide Notes, improved multitasking, Focus mode, Facetime improvements, and more!

Lastly, the tablet comes in four colors: Space Gray, Pink, Purple, and Starlight. Apple claims that the enclosure incorporates 100 percent recycled aluminum.

Alongside the new tablet are new Smart Folio covers that come in Black, White, English Lavender, Dark Cherry, and Electric Orange.
