Milestone after milestone!

After reaching the top 2 spot in the global smartphone market for Q2 2021, Xiaomi is also taking the world's 2nd place in terms of true wireless earphones segment. On top is Apple including Beats with 26.5 percent of the market share.

It can be recalled that the brand launched the Redmi AirDots 3 in China last May 2021. It is powered by a QCC3040 chipset with an upgraded Bluetooth version of 5.2 from Bluetooth 5.0. Which will bring more stable connectivity, faster connection, and enhanced transmission rate. The buds also have an aptX Adaptive codec support as well as a water-resistant rating of IPX7.

Meanwhile, in the Philippines, Xiaomi has recently climbed to the top 3 in the top 5 smartphone vendors category.

To recap, Xiaomi has announced that it will not be using the "Mi" brand anymore moving forward. In China, XDA reported that the company has already several products without the Mi branding.
