Google outs flagship Pixel 6 series with Google Tensor chip and 50MP GN1 primary cam
After several months of teasers, Google finally released its new Pixel 6 smartphones.

The new Pixel 6 phones are promising!
The highlight of the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro is its new homegrown processor called Tensor. This new chip is based on the advanced 5nm manufacturing process with 2x 2.80GHz Cortex-X1 + 2x 2.25GHz Cortex-A76 + 4x 1.80GHz Cortex-A55 cores. It is also using a flagship-grade Mali-G78 MP20 (848MHz) GPU and Titan M2 security chip for an extra layer of hardware-based security.

According to Google, the new Tensor chip will allow the new Pixel 6 phones to be an AI powerhouse. With it, its users will be able to translate videos and messages quickly via the Live Translate feature, can recognize your voice smarter when you use the voice to type feature or activate commands. The company said that this is 80 percent faster than the Pixel 5.

The Pixel 6 is using a Gorilla Glass 6 protected back design, an aluminum frame with a matte finish, and IP68 water and dust resistance. In front, it uses a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate with a punch-hole for the 8MP wide front camera and an In-Display fingerprint reader.
It also has 8GB RAM, up to 256GB internal storage, 4,614mAh battery with USB-C 30W fast charging + 21W Qi wireless charging, 50MP (1/1.3-inch 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor) + 12MP dual-cam, stereo speakers, and 3x microphones.

On the other hand, the Pixel 6 Pro is packed with a Gorilla Glass Victus protected back and front, 6.7-inch pOLED LTPO screen with 120Hz refresh rate and sharper QHD+ resolution. It also has a bigger 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, a 5,000mAh battery (more than 24 hours battery life) with USB-C 30W fast charging (50 percent in 30 minutes) + slightly faster 23W wireless charging, and an extra 48MP periscope-like 4x zoom camera that allows the device to zoom up to 20x digitally.
