The Huawei Watch Kids 4 Pro features a vibrant and fluid design that combines technology with top quality to provide a fun and informative experience for children.

The kiddie smartwatch uses a 1.41-inch AMOLED touch screen with 320 x 360 resolution. Huawei also put 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage despite the tiny body. Although do note that the memory capacity may be smaller as the system software takes up part of the storage.

You can also visibly notice the front camera, it has 5MP which supports HD video calls via Huawei MeeTime. Users can make HD video or voice calls on the Watch Kids 4 Pro with contacts that own Huawei devices, such as phones, visions, and tablets.

It is also equipped with Huawei's own self-developed network positioning services so that the parents and guardians can accurately locate the young user of the watch wherever they go. This is thanks to the GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, A-GPS, WLAN positioning, base station, positioning, indoor positioning, and accelerometer-assisted positioning.

When it comes to privacy, parents can rest easy as it is built in accordance with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), giving the kid users strict data encryption and privacy protection.

Water-resistant protection

There's also a 5ATM water-resistant protection included here. Particularly the buttons of the wearable have a waterproof enclosure designed to withstand up to 50 meters. The smartwatch also has a counting feature and a one-minute fitness challenge for skipping rope, free skipping rope, sit-ups, and other activities to promote health. It also tracks users' steps and assigns a ranking to them, which they can use to motivate themselves to exercise.

Finally, Huawei added distinctive LED lights on the wearable's body. The LED lights will have special effects when the screen is open, and users will be able to interact with the light in real-time. The LED lights also serve as a safety beacon, ensuring that children remain safe when wandering in the dark.

Price and availability

Huawei Watch Kids 4 Pro - PHP 9,999

The pre-order begins today until November 3, 2021, in the Huawei Online Store. The kiddie wearable is available in either Pink or Blue colorways.

However, consumers are required for a downpayment of PHP 1,000 in order to avail of the Php 3,000 discount. In addition, a free wireless charging table lamp worth PHP 2,499 will be bundled with the smartwatch.
