600MP for smartphones!

This confirmed the leak from December 2020 about Samsung's plan. The image that Samsung China shared at the Zoom meeting is also very similar to the leak last year.
600MP soon?
600MP soon?

To recap, the image of the prototype shows a massive single camera at the back which is 12 percent of the smartphone area at the back. The sensor will have a massive 1/0.57-inch size. This is way bigger than the 108MP sensor of Samsung only has a size of 1/1.3-inch and 0.8μm.

They made this possible while maintaining an 8.8 mm slim body while solving the camera bump problem. Samsung sees this future ISOCELL sensor as a solution to the zoom or 4K/8K video trends.

We are unsure yet if Samsung will use this sensor on a TECNO smartphone yet.

Samsung China also said that it has an ISOCELL RGBW image sensor dubbed as the most "human eye-like" sensor that will be available soon as well.

On the other news, TECNO is also working on a concept smartphone in Q1 2022 with Sensor-Shift OIS with up to 5,000/s Response Frequency and 350 percent stabilization improvement.

What do you guys think?
