Globe says services back in more Odette-hit provinces

Globe Telecom has restored its services in Antique, Biliran, Guimaras, and all of Samar after Typhoon Odette ravaged parts of the Visayas and Mindanao.
Iloilo network responders continue to work day and night, reaching 88 percent restoration status.

Globe restores network in more areas

In an advisory on Wednesday, the telco said people residing in the mentioned provinces can now make and receive calls as well as send and receive text messages to their loved ones.

The group's network is also now operational in Del Carmen, Siargao Island, San Jose in Dinagat Islands, Lipata Seaport, Surigao City and Surigao Airport.

Aside from restoring its network, the telco has also deployed free calls and charging stations in the following areas:

In Palawan:

Brgy. Bucana Covered Court El Nido, Palawan
Bgry. Sta Monica Talipapa, Puerto Princesa City

Globe's Puerto Princesa store is also operational and offers free phone charging from 10 AM to 5 PM.

In Visayas:

Brgy 3, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental
Brgy 1 Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental
San Jose Gymnasium, San Jose, Negros Oriental

In Mindanao:

Rose Pharmacy National Highway (near Gaisano Mall), Malaybalay, Bukidnon
Brgy. Lumbo near Covered Court and Bus Stop, Valencia City, Bukidnon
Poblacion 2, near RD Pawnshop, Santiago, Agusan del Norte
Tourism Information Center fronting Jollibee Mambajao, Camiguin
