For the entire 2021, Samsung came on top followed by Apple, Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo.

IDC said that all the top 5 vendors grew shipments year over year with four out of five achieving double-digit growth.

While Xiaomi had the highest annual growth reaching almost 30 percent, Samsung had the lowest at just 6.0 percent growth in 2021.

This contrast clearly illustrates which vendor benefitted the most from the massive decline of Huawei this year. Apple too had healthy annual growth of 15.9 percent in 2021 due to the superb 40 percent growth in China in last year.
