An exclusive emoji that will appear alongside tweets about the upcoming CNY

Chinese New Year is one of the biggest and most important festivals celebrated not only in China but across the world, especially in countries with many Chinese immigrants—and the Philippines is not an exception.

Since the celebration is just around the corner, Twitter launched a cute little feature to help you welcome the Year of the Tiger. Starting January yesterday, January 27, users will see a tiger enclosed in a red and orange circle emoji.

This will show up every time they tweet hashtags like #HappyNewYear, #HuatAh, or #MaligayangBagongTaon.

An emoji is gonna make conversations a roaring good time even just online whether you are posting about resolutions, predictions, or foods related to this festive spirit.

There are more than 500 Twitter users who have already used the hashtags and the emoji as they gear up for the holiday. Chinese New Year is on February 1, but the emoji will be available until February 15, 2022.

Will you guys use this emoji in your tweets?
