In Nigeria, itel officially launched the A58 series. These are new entry-level smartphones with new designs and a UNISOC chip inside.
Both the itel A58 and A58 Pro will come in a 3D curved plastic body in Black, Green, and Purple colorways. In front, the device features a 6.6-inch large LCD display with HD+ resolution and a notch for the selfie camera.
Inside, the two are powered by the 1.3GHz UNISOC SC7731E quad-core SoC. The vanilla A58 comes with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage while the "Pro" model has 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Both can be expanded to 32GB via a microSD card slot.
For battery, the two are using a 4,000mAh capacity.
At the back, both highlight a dual-camera configuration featuring a 5MP main shooter and a secondary "AI" sensor + LED flash. It also has a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Both run with Android 11 (Go edition) OS.
The devices will be available for sale starting this week in Nigeria. But, there is no info regarding their prices and international availability details yet.
