nubia Red Magic 7 5G with SD8G1 and up to 18GB RAM launches in PH!

nubia official local distributor XUNDD last night revealed that the new Red Magic 7 gaming smartphone with 2022 flagship-worthy specs is now available in the Philippines.

To recap, the Red Magic 7 features a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color depth, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and up to 700 nits brightness with DC dimming.

For specs, it banners the new 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 octa-core processor with a next-gen Adreno GPU, up to 18GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and 4,500mAh battery capacity with a USB-C 65W GaN fast charger.

The configuration outside of the country only has 12GB RAM, but XUNDD listed that it has up to a whopping 18GB RAM.

The device also has a triple camera setup featuring a 64MP main sensor + 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor + 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. For selfies, it uses an 8MP snapper.

Completing its gaming experience, nubia added anti-sweat and ergonomically constructed shoulder triggers with a 500Hz touch sampling rate and 7.2ms reaction time with a five-channel high-performance proprietary IC.

Moreover, the device features a nine-layer cooling structure with a VC cooling plate and a built-in 20,000 RPM RGB fan (ICE8.0 Multi-dimensional Cooling System).

The device also has stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi 6, 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2 NFC, GPS, and dual SIM slots.

It runs the latest Android 12 OS with RedMagic OS 5.0.
