Huawei brings Super Device-ready 2022 MateBook Series to the Philippines

Huawei Philippines today launched the 2022 edition of the MateBook Series in the country. It includes the MateBook D 14, D15, and 14—all are Super Device-ready.

According to Huawei, the new MateBook all carry the Huawei DNA of aesthetics, innovation, and intelligence. All are designed for modern workspaces and are smart office-ready thanks to the new Huawei Super Device solution that allows multiple Huawei devices to work as one and further increase the productivity of its users.

To those who missed it, the Huawei Super Device is an intelligent cross-device collaboration system that treats any nearby Huawei device as part of the MateBook's core functionality, and vice versa. Huawei notes that Super Device maximizes productivity by allowing its devices to interconnect and work with one another seamlessly and flawlessly.

All also have double-digit battery life, SuperCharge capabilities, and fingerprint power button access.

The MateBook D 14 and D 15 comes with tougher metallic body in Space Grey or Mystic Sulver, 14 and 15.6-inch screen sizes, respectively, both with LCD (IPS) screen with 1080p resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and TÜV Rheinland certification for Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free support.

Inside, the two are powered by the 10nm 11th-Gen Intel Core i5 processorand 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD storage. The D 14 has 8GB RAM while the D 15 comes with 16GB RAM. There is also a Performance Mode toggle to help the PC use the CPU's full power for demanding tasks.

The new devices also have a Recessed Camera hidden under a keycap for privacy when there's no need for a camera, Smart Fingerprint Power Button that automatically authenticates the identity of the user when powered on, and Windows 11 OS.

Meanwhile the MaetBook 14 is an even more impressive offering boasting a metal clad body in Classic Space Grey, 14-inch 2K FullView display, 185 ppi, 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a 3:2 aspect ratio. It also has an Eye Comfort Mode to minimize blue light emissions and DC dimming to eliminate flickers to prevent eye strain.

Inside, the device device uses the Intel Core i7-G1165G7 chip, Iris Xe Graphics chip, 512GB SSD storage, and 56WHr battery with Intelligent Power Saving technology allowing the device to enjoy up to 11 hours of battery life.

It also has an upgraded Shark fin internal dissipation system ensures the laptop stays cool and stable even under demanding tasks.

The device is just 15.9 mm slim at its thickest part and weighs just 1.49 grams.
