Breaking: French smartphone maker Wiko is coming to the Philippines!
Wiko has just sent out invites to the local tech press revealing that the company will soon go official in the Philippines.

Wiko is coming to the Philippines!
Based on the invite we received, the brand will formally introduce itself to the ever-competitive local smartphone market on June 02, 2022, at 6 PM.
To those who do not know, Wiko is a French company, a fully owned subsidiary of Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Tinno Mobile.
Based on its company introduction page, the brand was started in Marseille, France by two long-time friends China's Tinno group CEO James Lin and Laurent Dahan, a French entrepreneur.
To this date, the company is now operating in over 30 countries around the world. The brand is present in Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Wiko is a brand known for making competitive smartphones in the budget price segment.
It claims that one of its goals is to make smartphone technology accessible to all.
As of writing, we still do not know what exact smartphone will the company launch in the country.
