All of these three Arc Pro GPUs are designed to handle hardware-based ray tracing and AV1 hardware acceleration. These are perfect for AI tasks and creator applications used by professionals and enthusiasts alike.

The Intel Arc Pro A40 is the first desktop offering here. It is a discrete single slot GPU with 6GB GDDR6 video memory. It also has 3.5 teraflops of power which are powerful enough to be the main GPU for small form factor PCs. There's the larger Intel Arc Pro A50 design to take a dual-slot form factor with 6GB GDDR6 VRAM, 4.8 teraflops of graphical power, and 8x ray-tracing cores.

Both GPUs will have 4x Mini DisplayPorts for multi-monitor setups. It will support dual monitors at 8K 60Hz, a single monitor with 5K 240Hz, dual monitors at 5K 120Hz, and 4 monitors at 4K 60Hz.

Note that you can still play games with these but with some drawbacks in performance compared to dedicated gaming GPUs. This is to be expected since these are designed for apps such as Blender, Adobe Premiere Pro, Da Vince Resolve, and Handbrake.

Lastly, there is the Intel Arc Pro A30M mobile GPU for laptops. It has 4GB GDDR6 VRAM, 3.5 teraflops of graphical power, and 8x ray-tracing cores. It is designed to be used between 35W and 50W TDP with display outputs available varying across different manufacturers.

Pricing and availability for these are still kept in the dark though. The only information shared by Intel is that the Arc Pro GPUs will be available to its partners in late 2022.

What do you guys think?
