Smart glasses for photography or vlogging?

Within less than a year, Xiaomi presented the Smart Glasses concept with MicroLED technology. This time, the company revealed the first prototype in China. Weighing 100 grams, this head-mounted device may appear chunky but still wearable. 

According to the source, the displays have a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and a pixel density of 3,281 ppi. Under the hood, the smart glasses are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon eight-core chipset paired with a 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. 

For cameras, it features a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP telephoto lens. Xiaomi claims that this device can perform 5x optical zoom and 15x hybrid zoom.

 Aside from that, the MIJIA AR glasses are allegedly able to record video for up to 100 minutes. The tech giant even incorporated some AI functionalities, including a feature that lets you translate text between English and Chinese in real-time. 

Moreover, these glasses can do "backtracking" which means saving videos within 10 seconds before even the shutter button was pressed.

The MIJIA AR Glasses are also packed with a 1,020 mAh battery as well as magnetic. Allegedly, it can record continuously for up to 100 minutes. With its 10W fast charging, Xiaomi said that it can go from 0 to 80 percent charge in less than 30 minutes.

The tech giant announced crowdfunding for this AR glasses project. The Mijia AR glasses will initially be priced at CNY 2,499 (or around PHP 20.4K). But later on, the company will raise the price tag to CNY 2,699 as it officially hit the market. The

There's no information yet if the tech giant is planning to release it soon in other regions so let's wait for further announcement.
