Smart Glasses concept with MicroLED tech!

The device is unlike your regular "smart eyewear" found in the market today.

Xiaomi said that while they may seem just ordinary glasses, it comes with advanced MicroLED optical waveguide technology that displays images in front of your eyes. The company added that with the look of normal glasses, users can take calls, navigate, take photos, and even translate in real-time "right in your eyes" using this device.

GSMArena reports that the glasses have a teleprompter function and it weighs just 51 grams.

The MicroLED for backlighting and the display chip measures 2.4 x 2.02 mm with individual pixels sized at 4μm. It's also a monochrome panel with up to 2 million nits brightness when need in harsh sunlight directly.

According to Xiaomi, it also uses an optical waveguide technology that refracts light at 180 degrees and accurately transmits light beams to the human eye "through the microscopic grating structure of the optical waveguide lens".

This grating structure etched onto the inner surface of the glasses' lens lets light be refracted in a unique way, through bouncing light beams countless times, and allowing the eye to see a complete image.

The company did all of it in a single lens. It also has the XiaoAI assistant as the primary interaction method of the devices. Xiaomi notes that this only lets the most important notification get through you so you won't be disturbed with every single notification your phone gets. It can be used to see smart home alarms, urgent information from office apps, messages from important contacts, and more.

The device has dual beamforming microphones and speakers for taking calls. It also has a 5MP camera for taking features.

Powering the device is a quad-core ARM processor. It also has a touchpad, WiFi, and Bluetooth mode. It uses the Android operating system as well.

There are no other details about the device though. Also, note that this is a concept device and there is no guarantee that Xiaomi will make it available to the public.

Let's wait and see.
