It features the 12th Intel Core i7-12700H with 14 cores, 20 threads, up to 4.8GHz max clock speed, 24MB L3 cache, and a 45W max TDP. It also has the Intel Arc A770M GPU with 16GB GDDR6 VRAM, 32 Xe cores, and 32 Ray Tracing Units. With Intel Deep Link tech, the CPU and GPU can do dynamic power sharing.

The Serpent Canyon NUC can be bought pre-configured with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD or in a kit version that comes without RAM, storage, and OS. The latter is the more enthusiastic option between the two. You can put up to 64GB DDR4 dual-channel RAM, and up to three M.2 NVMe SSD slots.

In terms of I/O ports, there are 2x Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, 1x HMDI 2.1 port, 2x DisplayPort 2.0, 6x USB-A ports, and a full-size SD card reader. It also has an Intel 2.5Gbps Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.2, and WiFi 6E for connectivity.
