As a recap, the Ada Lovelace NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 will have two variants with 12GB and 16GB GDDR6 VRAM. It has a max boost clock of 2.61GHz, 3rd Gen Raytracing cores, 4th Gen Tensor cores, NVIDIA DLSS 3.0, improved NVIDIA Reflex, support for up to 8K resolution, and a 320W TDP.

NVIDIA is recommending a minimum of 750W power supply but we highly recommend getting at least an 850W power supply with at least 80 Plus Gold certification. This is to give leeway in times where in it needs a boost of power.

NVIDIA DLSS 3.0 now combines DLSS Super Resolution, all-new DLSS Frame Generation, and NVIDIA Reflex which is made possible by the abovementioned hardware improvements of the RTX 40 series. This is expected to be 4x faster than straight-up rendering.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 series will be available in November while the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 is set to be available on October 12. Additional variants from ASUS, MSI, Palit, and Colorful will likely be available soon after.
