Epson PU2200 compact projector series is now official
Three new high-brightness projectors in the Epson PU2200 series, with lumen outputs ranging from 13,000 to 20,000, are now available. The world's smallest and lightest 20,000 lumens projector is the EB-PU2220B. The PU2200 line of projectors features a cutting-edge frame and a special liquid cooling system. The EB-PU2220B projector is built to be 64 percent smaller and more compact than its predecessor, the EB-L20000UNL, and is designed to produce superb image quality at resolutions that surpass Full HD with support for 4K enhancement.
The extremely sophisticated PU2200 series high brightness projectors are constructed using cutting-edge technology and Epson's long history of visual superiority, enabling the new series of projectors to address growing consumer needs in education, businesses, museums, and tourist attractions.
The sophisticated features of the PU2200 series projectors, which include scene adaptive gamma correction, 4K enhancement technology, and enhanced optical components, enable viewers to enjoy stunning image quality at high resolutions with the potential to create a richer texture and more image clarity.
Additionally, thanks to the improved compensation plate, native contrasts can be improved. Dark colors are now more accurate, while brighter scenes can be calibrated to appear more evenly distributed on the screen. Also, approximately 92 percent of RGB is covered by the new projectors, improving the accuracy of visual representation.
Other features include an integrated high-efficiency laser light source with up to 20,000 hours of operation and an advanced liquid cooling system that cools the optical engines and laser light source units while enabling a more compact product build. The upgraded laser has the same brightness as earlier models while having a footprint that is one-third smaller than a typical laser bank.
The Epson PU2200 series projectors have also been built to be adaptable and durable enough to resist the demands of staging and live shows. The new series also passed an evaluation process by a third-party testing agency to receive the IP5X dustproof certification for sealed optical engines and light source modules.
The projectors in the PU2200 series also have a built-in NFC capability, which enables users to access configuration settings more easily without turning on the projector at all.
The Epson PU2200 series will be available in the Philippines starting this month via Epson Authorized Partners. Pricing was not disclosed yet. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
