vivo X90 Pro+ is now official—features SD8G2 and a 1-inch big camera sensor!

In China, vivo earlier introduced its newest flagship phone yet—the X90 Pro+. Obviously, this is higher than the X90 and X90 Pro.

Beastly cameras, new flagship Qualcomm chip

The main highlight of the device is it has a MASSIVE 1-inch big 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor with f/1.75 aperture size and OIS. The bigger the sensor, the better it is at capturing light.

Moreover, it has a 48MP f/2.2 Sony IMX598 ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50MP f/1.6 Sony IMX758 Portrait camera, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B 3.5x telephoto camera.

This camera system also has the ZEISS T* coating for clearer shots with minimal glares.

The X90 Pro+ camera configuration is also assisted by the new vivo V2 imaging chip with an 
energy efficiency ratio of 16.3 TOPS per watt which can offer AI, noise reduction, and dynamic range improvements in low-light images.

The other highlight of the device is it is the very first with the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. This is Qualcomm's newest top-of-the-line SoC fabbed under the 4nm manufacturing process with a max clock speed of 3.19GHz and an improved "New Adreno" GPU with Vulkan 1.3 support.

The device is boasting a curved back design with a leather back in Black and Red colors with IP68 water and dust resistance and a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED LTPO screen with 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, 1,200Hz instant touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, MEMC, Dolby Vision, JNCD≈0.26, and QHD+ 3200 x 1440 resolution. It also has a large In-Display fingerprint reader (Ultrasonic) and a top-center punch-hole for the 32MP f/2.45 selfie camera.

It also has 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage, and a 4,700mAh battery capacity with USB-C 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

The device also has stereo speakers, a 
CS43131 HiFi chip, an IR sensor, WiFi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, and dual SIM slots.

It runs with Android 13 OS with OriginOS 3.0 skin. If the device will go global, it will be the Funtouch OS 13.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

vivo X90 Pro+ 256GB  - CNY 6,499 (around PHP 52K)
vivo X90 Pro+ 512GB - CNY 6,999 (around PHP 56K)

There is no word if the device will be available in the Philippines yet.
