What does HP offer for a better gaming experience?

HP sees the growth of gaming as an industry in the Philippines. Almost 50 percent of the population is already playing video games. Revenue from the gaming sector in the Philippines was approximately USD 1.26 billion in 2020, and it is anticipated to increase to almost USD 2 billion in 2025.

HP continues to innovate and introduce gaming gear and software suited for every type of player in order to meet the needs of the growing Filipino gaming community. These include the Victus 15 Laptop, which is accessible, the thermally advanced OMEN 16 Laptop, and other potent enhancements to the OMEN Gaming Hub that offer superior gaming experiences for everyone.

One of the focuses of HP in improving the gaming experience is the revamped thermal management. It added a fifth heat pipe and fourth airflow vent on the OMEN 16 to make sure that the GPU, SSD, and CPU are being kept cool at all times. This will lessen the times wherein thermal throttling takes place.

OMEN Dynamic Power, a feature of OMEN Gaming Hub, works in tandem with an integrated IR thermopile sensor to precisely determine real-time CPU and GPU capacity and dynamically distribute power between the two. For the improved experience in any game, this adds additional headroom and optimizes in-game FPS based on current game activity. In comparison to last year's model, this technology has helped 3D Mark Time Spy perform up to 18 percent better and the CPU up to 36 percent better.

For consistent yet powerful performance, the OMEN 16  feature an Intel Core i9-12900H series CPU or AMD Ryzen 7 6800H Mobile Processors, which together with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU or AMD Radeon RX 6650M bring the newest games to life with stunning graphics. With up to 32GB DDR5 4800MHz and up to 2TB PCIe Gen4x4 SSD, you can benefit from quick access to important files while avoiding premature memory constraints.

The up to QHD 165Hz IPS panel has great colors and smoothness with over 3ms response time and 100 percent sRGB coverage. Experience reduced blue light with an auto-brightness sensor and an Eyesafe display that has been certified by TÜV Rheinland to keep eyes fresh during the greatest of adventures. With per-key RGB lighting and OMEN Gaming Hub Light Studio integration, the keyboard's vibrant graphics continue to complement any gaming setup theme.

The Victus 15, on the other hand, features a 144Hz FHD IPS screen with a 3ms response time. It also has Eyesafe protection certified by TÜV Rheinland. Inside, it has an Intel 15-12500H CPU, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 to AMD Radeon RX 6500M, and 16GB DDR4 3200MHz memory.

Wide back vents improve thermal efficiency while also adding visual flair. Four-way airflow and a two-heat pipe design help to keep things running cool when the action heats up. Gaming and other activities can be done quickly and easily with a single SSD that has up to Gen4 1TB PCIe capacity.

OMEN Gaming Hub is preinstalled on the OMEN 16 and Victus 15 laptops from the factory, allowing users to access potent internal features including Performance Mode, Network Booster, and System Vitals. The new Optimizer tool goes one step further by allowing fans to optimize FPS regardless of whether their PC is an OMEN, Vitus, custom-built, or other systems by releasing system resources and changing low-level OS parameters.

Additionally, having access to extra features like the Gallery, Rewards, Oasis Live, and OMEN Light Studio with Twinkly light support elevates gaming in fresh and interesting ways.
