#ICYMI: Could the WIKO T10 take decent images on a budget?
WIKO smartphones are often known for their design, but they also care about camera quality. The WIKO T10 could be one of them.

| A decent budget shooter? |
To those who missed it, the WIKO T10 is a budget smartphone with a PHP 4,999 starting asking price for the 2GB/64GB model to PHP 6,499 for the 4GB RAM/128GB edition.
For cameras, it uses a single 13MP shooter at the back. But, it has a wide and fast aperture size of f/1.8 to allow more light in. This also has an LED flash and a Night mode in the software to help it take images in the dark.

In front, it uses a 5MP f/2.2 snapper. This also has Face Beauty and Screen Flash.

This shot, it has an overexposed background, but the colors and details are pretty good in this daylight shot. Grain is minimal too. The dynamic range is also respectable. The greens on the plants are still visible and not that dark-looking.

For this food shot, we are pleased to say that the colors aren't washed. The details are also decent. The background blur is not that noticeable even if this is a close-up shot, but this is acceptable for the price.

In this 6 PM scenario, we were quite impressed. Yes, the grain is starting to become more visible, but the colors are still there. Even the details in the clouds are visible. This quality is considered as good for the price.

| Low light |
In the dark, we saw that it started to struggle. But it has respectable highlights and exposure control for a budget phone. This is forgivable for a PHP 4,999 smartphone.
For selfies, the output is better than expected even if it is only using a 5MP sensor.
In well-lit conditions, no problem. Shots have plenty of details and the colors are close to accurate.
For indoor dim shots, we noticed that the output is softer. But, the colors are still rich. In the dark, it is a bit grainy. But, the screen flash helps in letting it take respectable images with crisp enough details and colors.

If you only have PHP 4,999 in your wallet, the WIKO T10 2GB/64GB version is a smartphone that takes decent images.
Shots in well-lit situations are usable, colors were retained even indoors, and the night shots are viewable. There are even situations where it will wow you a little like the near-sunset shot we took and that's rare for a budget phone. The selfie cam is also not bad for the price. Just don't compare it with more expensive phones.
However, bear in mind that the experience is not flawless. Expect it to be a little slow in taking images, there could be some overexposure, and grain is present in dim indoor situations and night shots. If your hands are not steady, it could result in some blurry images as well.
The Night mode will help in making your low light shots brighter, but not necessarily better all the time.
If you can spend PHP 6,499 for its 4GB/128GB version and you are looking for a camera-focused phone, our suggestion is to look elsewhere.
Otherwise, its 2GB/64GB model is one of the phones that we can recommend if you want one with capable cameras under PHP 5K.
