Voltes V live-adaptation is made by local animators!

Recently GMA released the five-minute trailer of Voltes V. It is a highly anticipated series, and the TV network has been teasing it a lot since last year. Also, it brings back the childhood memories of many local viewers, particularly those from the 70s to 90s era.

See the trailer below:

Many netizens who saw the trailer were wowed at how good the graphics and animation were. Some even said that the TV network leveled up the quality of animation versus their previous products.

Other viewers speculated that Japan Toei made the work but Suzette Severo Doctolero a renowned screenwriter for TV and Film claimed that it is made by local animators.

What Japan Toei animation are you talking about? Lahat yan local animators ang gumawa, said by Suzette Doctolero

By going to the comment thread, you will see a lot of netizens were proud of the team of animators and even encourage them to keep up the good work.

It's not surprising though after all many Filipino animators already worked in Hollywood and other countries so it's not impossible that there are still left here in PH with similar talents.

What do you guys think? Have you seen the trailer yet?
