iQOO announced Z7 and Z7X with 120Hz display, SD782G, SD695, and up to 120W fast charging!

Apart from the Z7 5G, iQOO announced two more smartphones on its lineup—Z7 and Z7X.

The iQOO Z7

Two mid-range phones from iQOO!

Both devices arrived in nearly identical designs, they have curved edges at the back and similar rectangular camera island housing the two sensors.

Facing them up, you'll see a dot-display design, slim bezels on the sides, and a chin bezel below.

Both have 120Hz 6.64-inch LCD panels with 2388 x 1080 resolution, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 480 nits peak brightness, and DCI-P3 color gamut.

The Z7 gets the higher processor with 6nm 2.7GHz Snapdragon 782G (upgraded SD778G+) with Adreno 642L GPU and is paired with 8GBor 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage.

The Z7X has a lower processor with 6nm 2.2GHz SD695 with Adreno 619 GPU, 6GB or 8GB RAM, and 128GB or 256GB storage options.

Meanwhile, both devices share the same 5,000mAh battery but the Z7 gets 120W fast charging while the Z7X gets 80W instead.

The iQOO Z7X

On the camera side, the Z7 has 64MP f/1.79 OIS sensor paired with a 2MP depth helper and a 16MP selfie shooter. On the other hand, the Z7X gets 50MP and 2MP depth shooter and an 8MP front-facing camera.

Other features mentioned are the side-mounted fingerprint reader and stereo speakers.

For connectivity, they have 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2 (5.1 for Z7X), NFC (Z7 only), and dual SIM support.

For OS, the two smartphones run Android 13 with OriginOS 3 skin on top.

The pre-orders for these devices are now up in vivo's Chinese online store while the units will start shipping out by March 24, 2023. No word yet for other markets though.
