AITO M5 Smart Electric SUV with DriveONE tech and HarmonyOS backed by HUAWEI announced
At the nova 11 Series launch in China earlier, technology leader HUAWEI also formally introduced the AITO M5.

AITO M5 is a new smart electric SUV that can run up to 1,242 km on a single charge!
To those who do not know, AITO is produced by Seres in collaboration with HUAWEI.
AITO M5 is the company's first luxury smart electric SUV aiming to set the bar in the industry by delivering a smart travel experience to consumers.
It features a 2880 mm wheelbase making it compact enough to nip in and out of crowded cities, while also ensuring that there is sufficient space inside. The exterior highlights a "streamlined design" that integrates the plus points of both supercars and SUVs to make them flexible and stable at the same time.
The interior of the machine boasts a minimalist and elegant look with a 10.4-inch curved LCD dashboard, a 15.6-inch semi-floating central control screen, and a 2 m² panoramic skyscreen.
Making the car run is a new all-in-one electrical system HUAWEI DriveONE for longer battery life, smarter experience, and higher performance.
According to a HUAWEI lab test, the AITO M5 can go as far as 1,242 km in a CLTC cycle when fully charged and fueled up. To put it into perspective, it is almost as far as Beijing to Shanghai. The full EV version can run 600 kilometers on just a full charge.
This also has an "intelligent" four-drive combination of the SEP165 AC asynchronous motor and the HW150 permanent magnet synchronous motor ensuring acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.
Moreover, it has an all-aluminum alloy chassis and multi-link suspension with double wishbones allowing it to maintain good stability and comfort even under extreme handling.
Since it is backed by HUAWEI, the smart electric EV runs with HarmonyOS. It is also the first with Smart Cockpit and integrates the new Smart Dock shortcut bar for displaying cards for popular services such as navigation, music, and the vehicle's condition that can be accessed quickly with just one touch.
The size and order of the cards are also adjustable and it has AI Voice interactions and scenario-based Celia Suggestions.
Basically, it transforms the vehicle into a "Super Device" that easily connects with mobile phones, smart home devices, smartwatches, and more. Navigation, music, and MeeTime calls can be seamlessly transferred to facilitate an all-connected world.
In our first experience, you can even control where you want the wind to come out inside the car, comes with an air purifier, a sensor that remembers who are you to save your seating preference, a camera that you can use for even selfies, and handsfree automatic parking.
