HONOR Pad V8 announced with Dimensity 8020, 11-inch 120Hz display!

Today, HONOR revealed a new tablet called the Pad V8 a slightly lesser version of the Pad V8 Pro launched last December.

The new tablet features a premium vegan leather design on the back adapting to what high-end smartphones use these days.

The tablet's design

Flipping it upward, you'll see the 11-inch LCD (IPS) panel with 2.5K 2560 x 1600 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 86 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The features

Inside, it is powered by the 6nm 2.6GHz Dimensity 8020 with Mali G77 MC9 which looks a lot similar to the Dimensity 1100. It has 8GB RAM and choices of 128GB or 256GB expandable storage.

On the battery side, it has a hefty 7,250mAh capacity and charges 22.5W power brick.

For cameras, it has a 13MP main + 2MP depth shooter while the front camera has 5MP that should handle your selfies and video calls.

Other features mentioned are the quad speakers with DTS: X Ultra support. While there's also an optional Magic Pencil 3 stylus and Magic keyboard.

In terms of connectivity, it has WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.1

The tablet runs Android 12 OS with Magic UI 6.1 skin out of the box.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

HONOR Pad V8 8GB/256GB - CNY 1,899 (around PHP 15.2K)

It is now available in China however it remains unknown if it will come to the Philippines. The Pro Edition hasn't yet either. Stay tuned as we will update you once HONOR makes official announcements.
